Good morning.
So, first things first.
A driver picked us up at 6 a.m. in a comfortable car. The children were asleep, and there was plenty of room for both.
We arrived in Cairo in about 3.5 hours. Our guide was already waiting for us there. We wanted to go to the pyramids first, before noon. There, we also took the entrance to the frescoed tomb of the granddaughter of Cheops. We walked around the entire area, learned a lot, and our guide was happy to answer all our questions. And we have a lot of questions; we’re a well-prepared family, having done a lot of research.
After 12 p.m., we went to lunch. We had a good meal.
And then we went to the Grand Museum. It’s huge! Of course, it’s impossible to see everything in a couple of hours, but our guide showed us the most significant exhibits and gave us time to explore on our own. He was very attentive to us, especially the children.

We got home quickly, too, and also relaxed in the car. Everything was wonderful!
